Opened in 1994, SnowDome is one of the longest established indoor snow venues in the UK. It has real snow all year round, a 170-metre main slope and shorter slopes for beginners.

If you're looking for the UK's longest indoor real snow slope, you'll find it at Chill Factore, near Manchester.
Chill Factore's main slope is 180-metre long. There's also a beginners' slope, two-lane tubing slope, a snow play area and 60-metre luge - perfect for adrenaline junkies.
And with one of the UK's top shopping centres - the Trafford Centre next door, any non-skiing partners or friends will have plenty to keep them entertained too.

The Snow Centre, Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire
The Snow Centre is one of the UK's newest indoor snowsport facilities. It has great snow conditions, a 160-metre main slope, plus a lesson slope. The Snow Centre provides lessons for beginners or for skiers and snowboarders looking to improve their technique.
With freestyle sessions, evening sessions and ladies only sessions, there's something to suit everyone. And when you're ready to relax, enjoy a little après-ski at the licensed bar where you can enjoy a great panoramic view of the slopes.

Sheffield Ski Village, Sheffield, South Yorkshire
Sheffield Ski Village is the ideal place to prepare for your next skiing or snowboarding holiday. There's one-third of a mile of ski slopes and a half-pipe for snowboarders. You'll also have the opportunity to get to grips with a variety of ski lifts.
As well as skiing and snowboarding you can also try tobogganing and snow tubing.
At Sheffield Ski Village, there's a wide range of other activities including ten-pin bowling, quad bike sessions and an outdoor play area.
